DILL PICKLES

1 c. sugar                                             

3 c. water                                                            

1-1/2 c. vinegar

1 Tbsp. salt (each jar)

Dill

 Wash cucumbers, dry and place in quart jars.  Add salt and sprig of dill to each jar.  Bring sugar, water and vinegar to a boil.  Pour over pickles and seal jars in water bath.  Bring to a boil and simmer 10 to 15 minutes.
