Green Beans with Almonds

Serves 30  

3/4 cup minced onion

3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) butter

1 cup slivered almonds (not sliced)

 Dash salt

1 No. 10 can  (Blue Lake) Fancy Cut Green Beans, drained  (6 lb. 5 oz.)

 

Melt butter in skillet.  Add almonds and onion.  Cook on low heat until almonds are browned and onion is tender.  Add green beans.  Heat until warmed.  Pour into one (half-size)  hard pan.

Maintain heat above 140 deg.
