QUICK REFRIGERATOR ROLLS

5 cups flour

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup shortening (crisco)

1/2 cup sugar

1 package yeast

1 1/2 cups water

In a large mixing bowl, flour, salt, crisco and  sugar. Dissolve 1 package of yeast in 1 ½ cup warm water. Stir into flour mixture. Pour onto board with flour and knead well until dough is soft and satiny, not sticky. Put into greased bowl. Cover and store in refrigerator.

About 2 hours before baking, knead dough slightly and make rolls out into desired shape. Brush with melted butter. Let rise at room temperature. Bake about 20 minutes at 350 Deg.

Bake rolls until partially done, cool and then freeze, browning when ready to serve.
