SUGAR COOKIES

1/2 cup butter

I cup sugar

I egg

I 3/4 cups flour

I teaspoon baking powder I tablespoon milk

1/2 teaspoon Wilton Clear Vanilla Extract

1/4 teaspoon salt

 Preheat oven to 375° F. If using a dark cookie sheet, reduce heat down to 325 degrees.  Cream butter and sugar, add egg and mix. Add remaining ingredients and mix until smooth. Refrigerate dough 2 hours. Roll out dough 1/8 in. thick on lightly floured surface, dip cutters into flour before each use. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 12-15 minutes or until lightly browned. Place on cooling rack for 5 minutes, remove from sheet and cool.

 Makes 18-24 cookies
