CHESS SQUARES

1 box Duncan Hines butter cake mix

1 stick margarine, softened

1 egg

Combine these 3 ingredients; mixture will be like dough. Pat into ungreased 11x 13 inch pan.

8 oz. cream cheese, softened

3 eggs

1 box powdered sugar

Beat cream cheese. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each. Add sugar; beat well.

Pour over mixture in pan and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Let cool before cutting into squares.
